Be sure that a manager, or someone in the band, advances all shows with Matt, no later than 5 days prior! He can be reached at the venue on Tuesdays from 1 -6 pm or via cell phone at 760-685-3786 (this is only if you have a show booked).
The Wheel House relies heavily on a college crowd. The University of Rhode Island’s Kingston Campus is located about 10 miles north of the venue, however, about 50% of the students(roughly 6000 students) reside in the town of Narragansett. The venue does not have a “natural” or “built in” crowd. It is the artists responsibility to take the proper means of promoting, to ensure a turnout and ultimately a successful show. It is recommended that you use your street team, internet resources (myspace,facebook etc.) and highly recommended that you use the promotional services of The Enlightened Music Network.
